Giants Vikings Odds - Metrodome Roof Collapses - Game Postponed: As if things could not be more complex in Minnesota during week 14 of the NFL picks season. According to reports out of Minnesota the Vikings Metdrodome roof has collapsed due to a recent snow storm. The Minnesota Vikings were scheduled to take on the New York Giants in a Sunday Night Football picks contests which has been postponed by the NFL until Monday night. The week 14 NFL picks contest will now be televised regionally at 8PM on Monday night.
The Minnestoa Vikings Brett Favre will get an extra days rest as his record of consecutive starts is in jeapordy after Favre sustained a shoulder injury against the Bills last week. Favre left the game early in the first quarter and was replaced by Tavaris Jackson. Jackson helped the Vikings earn the NFL picks victory with two TD passes to Sidney Ricce, Peterson also stepped up for the Vikings scoring three TD's while nursing a sprained ankle.
As for the New York Giants, the Giants are currently tied with the Eagles for the top spot in the NFC east. The Giants most recently earned a 31-7 NFL picks victory over the Washington Redskins, an NFL picks contest in which the Giants covered the 7.5 point NFL spread set by NFL odds makers.
